🐾 Meet Bacon Bits! 🥓❤️

Bacon Bits has been an absolutely lovely houseguest and is ready to find a home where he can settle in and become someone’s loyal little shadow.

This sweet boy loves being near his people. He isn’t necessarily going to climb straight into your lap, but when he decides he needs some attention, he’ll plant himself right in front of you and make his request known. And once he gets really comfortable? His snuggly side comes out—on his last night in foster, he traded his beloved dog bed for the human bed and curled up right against his foster.

🏡 Around the house, Bacon Bits has been a pretty easy companion. He loves a comfy dog bed and will happily lounge there during the day, then sleep through the night until his people get up. He sits nicely during family meals without begging or jumping up and got along wonderfully with the adults and teenagers in his foster home.

🐕 Walks are a favorite! Bacon Bits does very well on leash. He may zigzag to investigate something interesting or make an unexpected pit stop, but he isn't a major puller. About a mile seemed to be his happy place—a nice stroll followed by some serious lounging sounds just about perfect to him.

🚗 His first car ride was… an adventure. 😂 Bacon Bits apparently thought the back seat was an obstacle course, but we're happy to report that his subsequent rides were MUCH calmer. He's already showing how quickly he can adjust to new experiences.

❤️ He's a social guy, too. Bacon Bits enjoyed meeting visitors at his foster home and even spent a couple of hours hanging out at an outdoor café. He may occasionally bark at something unusual or exciting, but he's generally happy to meet people and accept some love. He was interested in his foster's neighbor dogs through the fence and, even better, immediately came away when called. He also showed off that recall when something caught his attention outside.

🧸 Bacon Bits enjoys toys without immediately turning them into confetti, and he's happy to entertain himself with them. As he became more comfortable in his foster home, he also started showing off a little more of his voice and personality.

One important Bacon Bits PSA: don't underestimate his counter-surfing abilities! If something interesting is within reach, those paws may make an appearance. 😂 A little management and some continued training will help him learn that countertops are for humans.

Bacon Bits is affectionate without being demanding, enjoys his walks, loves a good lounge session and genuinely seems happiest simply being part of whatever his people are doing. If you're looking for a sweet companion who wants to follow you through life—and then curl up nearby when the day is done—Bacon Bits might just be your guy. 🥓🐾❤️
