Meet Dot Warner: An Angel In Disguise Available for Adoption or Foster Takeover

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of taking home Dot for a few days and I truly have nothing negative to say. She would be a wonderful companion for so many kinds of families or a first time dog owner. She could also do well in an apartment!

She is a beautiful girl with the cutest ears. She is available for adoption or foster takeover by this weekend. I need to take in another dog who needs some help gaining weight, so I would love for Dot to go to another home after waiting in the shelter for 3 months.

Dot is reliably potty and crate trained. She didn’t make a peep while we were out at a restaurant (based on the camera I had on her) and chills in her crate while I’m at work. She is non-destructive and hasn’t tried to get into any human things. She also doesn’t beg for food at the table!

Dot is people friendly and had a blast meeting people of all ages at the VegFest festival event. She is also nonreactive to other dogs on walks and close proximity. She has done excellent living with my resident laid back dog. Sometimes she tries to get him to play, so she would love a playmate! In shelter playgroup she had a poke and run playstyle. I think she would do okay as the only-dog as well.

She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and loves cuddles on the couch or bed. For the most part she has been very chill in the home but is always up for a short or long walk. She is a breeze on leash and doesn’t pull. I think she would enjoy a good playtime, so overall I’d say she is medium energy.
