Mr. McGrey

This stud muffin recently went on a daycation and showed us that he could be someone's soul dog. Here's what the wonderful volunteer had to say:

Words can’t even describe how perfect Mr. McGrey is! From the moment I met him, I knew he was special, and I am jealous of the lucky people who get to love him and give him the forever home that he deserves. Mr. McGrey is a handsome hippo that loves love – wherever you are, Mr. McGrey wants to be with you, curled up next to you, sitting with you/on you, and getting all the belly rubs. He loves being walked, brushed, talked to, receiving ear scratches, and most of all giving kisses. He runs (sometimes looks like a waddle ) to you out of happiness when you greet him with open arms, and he will rest his head on your shoulder when you get to his eye level. He also loves to rest his large head on your legs and seeks comfort in soft, slow pets down his back and on his chest. Of all the dogs that I’ve met, his demeanor is the calmest and most chill of dogs that I have been around, but again, I’ve never seen a dog get so excited to see those that he loves; whenever I would have to get up or leave the room, he made sure to come with me, and when I would come home from outside places, he would barrel his way over with a look about him that made you know you were his whole world. He is the softest, most gentle giant that just wants someone to love him back, as much as he loves them. Dress him up in pajamas, costumes, what have you, lie back, take a nap, read, go for walks, enjoy the sun, do everything with Mr. McGrey, and he will be happy because he is with you – he doesn’t care what it is; if he is by you, he is a happy camper! He is fantastic with meeting people and wants to get to know you – he thinks everyone deserves a chance, so give Mr. McGrey a chance, and you won’t regret it!

He would make a great addition to any size of family or even just to be someone’s companion. Again, anyone would be lucky to have the chance of having Mr. McGrey in their life. He takes the stress away and makes you forget about how bad life can get at times.
