💙 Meet Gillie! 💙

Gillie is an amazing, energetic, affectionate guy who approaches pretty much everything with enthusiasm—including cuddling! 😂 This boy doesn’t just snuggle; he gives aggressive snuggles and wants to be wherever his people are.

In a home, Gillie has shown just how people-oriented he is. When left to choose where to hang out, he seeks out his humans, settling beside his foster parents or even heading downstairs on his own to find their teenage son for some quality snuggle time. ❤️

Gillie has also had zero accidents in the house! With regular potty breaks every 45–60 minutes, he goes every time, and he slept through the night without needing to go outside.

This guy is definitely HIGH energy. Even when he’s cuddling, there’s a sense that he’s ready for the next adventure! Gillie loves to sniff, explore, and see what’s happening around him. He’d make an awesome companion for someone looking for a hiking or running buddy who can keep up with an active lifestyle. 🥾🏃‍♂️🐾

Gillie is also an extremely strong boy and appears to have a high prey drive, so he’ll need someone comfortable handling his strength and continuing to work with him. He hasn’t had a close introduction with other dogs yet, although he seemed awfully disappointed when the neighbor dogs didn’t come out to say hello!

At bedtime, Gillie was convinced the fun must still be happening somewhere without him and wasn’t thrilled about being closed away from the action. Once he settled on the couch with his person, though, the snuggles were back in full force and he eventually relaxed for the night.

Gillie is a loving, adventurous, curious, people-focused powerhouse who has plenty of energy to burn and plenty of affection to give. If your idea of a great day involves exploring trails, getting outside, staying active, and ending it with some seriously enthusiastic cuddles, Gillie might just be your guy! 💙🐾
